The RCIA process is the ordinary means by which an adult is baptized. Christians seeking full communion in the Catholic Church receive the sacraments of Initiation: Confirmation and Eucharist. The program is designed to provide the participants with a basic introduction to the traditions and teachings
of the Catholic faith as they pertain to prayer, worship, scripture, social justice, morality, church history, and the sacramental life of the Church. The sessions are developed on the premise that conversion is a lifelong journey. There are significant events which when reflected upon, become experiences of grace and growth. It is hoped that RCIA will nurture and encourage such significant experiences of grace and growth. Children who have reached the age of reason (7), are considered adults and will also go through the RCIA process adapted for children. Those interested in Adult Confirmation would be included in the RCIA formation sessions.

The process is the same in Spanish, but the seccions are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesday of every month. Parents: To begin the process for the baptism of infants and children under seven years of age, parents will need to come to the parish office to complete a Baptismal Information Form. Please bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate with you at that time. After the form has been completed, an appointment will be scheduled with the pastor or his delegate. During that appointment the form will be reviewed and the schedule of the formation session and date of the baptism celebrations will be provided.
